Nearly forgot...

Just to make Daisy jealous – I took my mother to Sew Creative yesterday – I wasn’t going to buy anything, I really wasn’t, no, honestly, but then on the way there she started talking about how she needs a new hat. How is a loyal and loving daughter supposed to ignore that one? So I bought this, and I think I’m going to make something a bit like this with it.

Hey ho – but I have finished that second sleeve of Adam’s jumper, and I’ve sewn up the shoulder seams and started the neckband. (And I’m getting oh so scared that it won’t fit at all… )

There is a Cambridge knitting gang that will be getting together this Saturday 3 December, 2-4pm, Grads Cafe, top floor,
University Centre, Granta Place, off Mill Lane, Cambridge. Everyone welcome, teaching and knitting supplies available for anyone who wants to learn.

Tuesday 13 December, 7-9pm, The Regal (Wetherspoons), St Andrews St, Cambridge.

Since I have little children, Sat afternoon is not great for me, but I will try to make the Tuesday one. The Wed one is at lunchtime in Chesterton. I hope this helps!

NO NO NO. That’s not fair. big wail, lots of stamping feet I want to go to Sew Creative. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Love the hat design though, it’ll look great!

I love the look of the brim on that hat can’t wait to see what the finished hat looks like. I feel that Sew Creative isn’t something that I should know about as it could prove to be expensive.

Hey Anne! Thanks for popping up on my map! Yes, the Wenesday SnB is during the day – but it’s a lunchtime. (I work full time, but just round the corner from the venue. Some other attendees work mornings only, or not at all, or are self employed…;) That Paton’s yarn looks lovely – some of the colours are just beautiful. Do let us know how it knits up!
