Day off revisited

So I cleaned the bathroom to within an inch of its life – no, I exaggerate, but I did finally stick all the loo-roll cardboard inners in the recycling bin – we started keeping them because they make really good biodegradeable pots for seedlings – except that we haven’t got round to planting seedlings this year, and I do believe we’ll generate more tubes by next year.

But housework doesn’t fill me with joy, so I rewarded myself by mixing a few fruity drinks… yup, you guessed it, I’ve been Kool Aid dyeing – it was such fun. I can’t wait to do some more. (But that involves explaining to dh why I absolutely need to buy more sock yarn. Anyone would think that 5 pairs-worth was enough or something sheesh!)

Anyway, in all it’s flecky glory – here it is:

I honestly don’t recommend clicking on the thumbnail – it’s one of the worst photos I’ve taken, but doesn’t it look delicious – it smells pretty good too ;-)

two comments:

I love the Kool Aid dyeing. It is something I want to try out myself.

That looks fab! Which flavours did you go for?
