I’m very much a man’s woman. But if things were otherwise, then yes I most definitely would. I would have especially fallen for you in that tight black suede mini-skirt that you wore in 1987!
05. Would you kiss me?
I don’t go a bundle on kisses at the best of times (which is terrible when I meet Italian members of the family) but you can have a big hug any day.

Oh good. I have another chance at this! keep posting this question, Anne, and you will end up with my entire list of adjectives for you!! OK. This time it’s: “perfect”.
07. What was your first impression?
I remember precisely what I thought when I saw you. You were telling the tale of how you’d made it from UMIST to somewhere else via the Beeb the previous evening (and you used the phrase: “it was a case of” ) and I thought: “if I achieve nothing else in my 3 years at this university, I WILL get to know THIS person. She is MY kind of person.”

You have turned out to be every bit as interesting and fun as I thought you would.

When ever I hum “we utterly deny etc” (which I do frequently, actually)

An ancient tapestry – or some other beautiful antique.

No. Ah yes. I wanted to tell you about the problems within my first marriage when they were occuring. But I couldn’t. (I couldn’t tell anyone).
