Knitting on the Cam...

... which is stolen directly from the title of Mary’s blog but it’s what we did – however she wrote a much better description than my hormones will currently allow, so do go there to read all about it.

I’ll just give you a few pictures to look at:

Emily and Bekki

Avril (gesticulating at just the wrong moment… ), Mary and Diane just after going under the Mathematical Bridge (with Arthur and Marcelle just visible at the edges.)

Mary’s husband and daughter poised to snap us. (See Mary’s blog for the picture Stephen took… )

After an hour’s punting we continued over snacks and drinks – and I discovered that it is possible to get a knitter to put the needles down…

... but it takes food and drink to do it!

But the natural order of things was soon restored:

(Note the gorgeous pink knitting on the edge of this picture – I’ve finally met the Crafty Otter in person, but totally failed to take anything like a decent picture of her. Ah well… )

one comment:

Wow, actual pictures of people. Mine are all a bit too “candid,” meaning people have odd expressions on their face or some such. Fun fun fun.
