By George she's got it!
I’ll spare you the minute details, but my daughter has today asked for the potty and used it thoroughly. (It’s the asking for it herself that makes us happiest.) So this time it’s for real. This is not a drill. We have potty training. Yay!!!
(Oh, and in silliest things I’ve ever heard – someone found my blog following a Google search for “domestic goddess blog” – huh!? Have Google seen the state of our house? – Clearly not, which is reassuring really!)

Yay re: your daughter! Hee hee – I LOVE to see the search terms. Always mystifying, occasionally surreal.Chris () (link) - 01 October '06 - 20:04

Congrats to Ruth! (reminds me of Goth niece’s early days: she couldn’t understand why her parents praised her to the skies for filling the potty but then tipped the contents away, after which she howled and howled!).Er, who says domestic goddesses have tidy houses? They’re too busy creating stuff to be tidy.
