The Name Game
First of all: In Knitting News today, we have reports that the Sunrise Circle jacket (otherwise known as “The Jacket That Has Taken Forever”
is being seamed… We will have further updates when we have more news…
Meanwhile, I found this meme on the Crazy Fiber Lady’s blog:
The Name Game
1. YOUR ROCK STAR NAME: ( pet and current street name)
Ptolemy Foster
2. YOUR MOVIE STAR NAME: (grandfather/grandmother on your moms side, your favorite candy)

3. YOUR “FLY Guy/Girl” NAME: (first initial of last name, first three letters of your middle name)
P Car
4. YOUR DETECTIVE NAME: (favorite color, favorite animal)
Red Cat
5. YOUR SOAP OPERA NAME: (middle name, city where you were born)

7. SUPERHERO NAME: (“The”, your favorite color, favorite drink)
The Red Elderflower Champagne (This seems to go quite well with my superpower of performing household tasks by identifying them.)
8. NASCAR NAME: (the first name of both your grandfathers)
Tom George
9. FUTURISTIC NAME: ( the name of your favorite perfume/cologne and the name of your favorite shoes)
Miss Dior Ecco
10.WITNESS PROTECTION NAME: (mother/father’s middle name )
John (which I think could make people a little suspicious, I don’t think I really look like a John, but my mother doesn’t have a middle name… )
(Edited to include) 11. PR*NSTAR NAME (name of your first pet and the name of a street you lived on as a child)
Bonzo Mellington
!!!!!!!!!!
(Hmmm – I’ve used a little artistic licence with some of these – you know – the ones that share answers with those questions you get asked as security on banking websites… )

All your names are cool! Now you have to add your p*rn star name which is formed by using the name of your first pet and the name of a street you lived on as a child. Mine is Trixie Gay. I got that one from my friend Ellen at http://www.knitsisters.comlorinda () (link) - 05 October '06 - 12:33
This was fun for a dull Thursday morning! Quite liked my movie star name, Beatrice Lindt, and my soap opera name, Victoria Barnstaple. Star Wars name is a mouthful though, Evalowagri… Furturistic was Chanel #5 Duo, but I had the same problem as you with my witness protection name and I don’t know whose would be harder to carry off. Stanley. Yes, well…! xxLouise - 05 October '06 - 12:34
This is so much fun. (Must call myself Mary Elizabeth Fengtastics from now on, though have just discovered healthier vegetarian alternative, so maybe Mary Elizabeth Sour Jelly Babies?)Yours, Harriet Liverpool/Olga Ebble/Spring Fever Hotter

You and I have the same detective name: Red Cat. My Star Wars name is Kiekabramb or Kiekahoamb, depending on which mother I use. Those of us from divorced/remarried/adoptive parents can choose from several variations. Movie star name: Margit Special Dark Chocolate Hersheys with Almonds—doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, does it? Maybe I should go with Margit Snickers.kmkat () (link) - 20 October '06 - 00:41
