Yes, it's Saturday again...

... so that means more Saturday Sky:

And the Sunrise Circle Jacket? Seamed, but yet to be hemmed and have buttons etc sewn on… – there will be pictures when it’s finished – but at least IT FITS!!!

So I went shopping on Wednesday… and bought this:
– destined to be a baby jacket (the mother-to-be requested “a chunky jacket in neutral colours” – Wendy Fusion should do nicely – I’ve been longing to make something with this since I first saw it – in fact I may simply cuddle it, and not bother knitting it at all… )

Nice sky! And wool cuddling too – I like the sound of that. I wonder, is it something that all knitters indulge in from time to time?!

Oh, pretty! I can see cuddling it and that’s without even touching it.

Sunrise Jacket fits! Yay! Seamed is close, hemming and buttonholes are much easier in comparison. Can’t wait for pix!

Haven’t the nights drawn in early this year? (I know, I’m getting old…;) Still makes for lovely Saturday Sky though. Wool cuddling, yes, done a bit of that. Can’t beat a bit of something soft and snuggly.

Will be intereted to hear your views on how the Fusion knits up – I have 2 balls in the stash at the moment. Well done on the Sunrise circle, and learning to crochet the loops!

Oh yes, wool cuddling is ace. It’s when you start talking to it in the shop that you get funny looks…
