Trying to get that elusive shot...

So it’s that time – Christmas cards to be written, Christmas letters to be avoided. We have got into the habit of simply including a small snapshot of the children – we figure that that pretty much tells people what they need to know, and avoids some of the worst faux pas of Round Robin letter-writing.

So we need a decent photo of the children. Now regular readers will know that my children have the ability to be fairly photogenic. Not today.

Ah well.

Oh, that sounds hysterical. I’ll have to pick it up. But I LOVE ‘round robins’! Even the boasting, bragging, or depressing ones.

They look hecka photogenically darling to me.

Round robins? Pah, how about an Xmas podcast!? (NB this is a joke). any of those pictures of Adam and Ruth would bring cheer to your Xmas card recipients. top left and 3rd one down on the right are my faves!

Well, all the pics are cute, so I’d send any of them (more realistic too!). And yes, I hate round robin letters, although they are usually good for a fit of the giggles!

ah, yes, the horror photo session time of year. I really have to get around to it too pretty soon. last year I just used the best of the summer photos, but this year I couldn’t find a good one. I think all you’re photos are really cute, but I guess you were hoping for one with four open eyes and two angelic smiles. That’s quite a challenge!

What fun! I have given up putting picture’s in my cards it’s too much work getting the kids altogether and not making weird faces!! :) They look adorable!! Good luck on your mission!! Happy knitting!

Of course, not when you NEED a picture. :)

Aw, I think either #1 or #2 would be great in your cards. Maybe not the traditional portrait-style photo, but adorable nonetheless.

That is really funny!

I have just had some developed and amongst them is a cracker of Michael and Isabel – absolutely beautiful (by pure chance) – except there’s a packet of wet wipes and Michael’s pj bottoms in the background!
