Saturday sky
It’s been a while, but today I’d taken Adam and Ruth to the playground, and I had my phone (AKA camera that will talk to people) with me, and the sky was magnificent, so I remembered:

And my back? Well, it’s not right yet, but it’s much better. Current medical wisdom is that it’s best to keep active with a bad back. However at the moment if I walk around or spend much time sitting my back seizes up (not really painful, just very very tense), but if I lie flat for a while it relaxes again. So I’m basically resting, but still doing a bit. I’m still fairly sure that it was fatigue that set it off in the first place, so resting seems to make sense to me.
And knitting? Well, give me a chance…

Lovely skies. So your back is a bit better??Chris () (link) - 04 March '07 - 02:31
Lovely sky! This will sound depressing, but I have noticed that aches and pains and muscle strains seem to take longer to wear off than they used to now that I am approaching the age of *0. I mean, what used to wear off in a daye, can now take over a week to go.And on that cheerful note, I’d better get my doll ready – we’re doing ‘baptism’ at Sunday School this morning (better think up a name for her….quick!)

An evening sky like that does give you a lift, doesn’t it?I’m not sure it’s the age that slows recovery, or the commitments we have as an adult/parent/couple that doesn’t allow us the time to recover properly in one go. Snatching moments of rest rather than a day just isn’t helpful.
Hope your back is feeling better now x
