Texere - a public service announcement

I know, I know, I’ve not posted for a long while. Thank you to people who have expressed concern – I’m fine – nothing bad is happening – quite the reverse really – I’m simply busy – loads of stuff going on at work, knitting, spinning, cooking, laundry, even – dare I say it? – some cleaning.

But I thought it might be useful to spread the word about Texere – their old website is very very broken at the moment (www.texere.co.uk) – it started falling apart at the weekend, and by Monday it was all gone. Apparently they changed the server, and it didn’t go well. At the moment they are using www.texereyarns.com, although I still had difficulty logging on to buy, so I phoned them (which is when they told me the problems.) They don’t really want to stay with .com, and will move back to .co.uk as soon as possible – they have people working on it long into the night to try to get things fixed.

Thankyou!! I’ve been wondering over the last two days what was going on. I was planning to phone them, but hadn’t yet. I’m so glad it’s only the website that’s died, not the whole company! How did you find out, by the way?
