Osmosis

Icon This was my first major program, a desktop patience game with a difference - not only are the cards big enough to read in large screen modes (it really needs at least 800x600 to be playable), but it plays games other than sevens (a.k.a. Klondike) and Freecell. Here are some screenshots and short descriptions of the two games it currently plays (click on the images to see the full versions). Osmosis was published on an Acorn User cover disk under their PD Scheme.

The first game is Osmosis, a fairly standard patience game, but with an interesting twist. Pyramid, the second game, is more of a strategy game, and involves a fair amount of planning and skill. It also has an unusual feature for a patience game - a score, which allows you to keep track of how well you are doing. Download here.
